Description

1.The air-leg rock drill is an efficient drilling device powered by compressed air and is widely used in mining, tunneling, construction, water conservancy projects and other fields. It provides propulsion through the air-leg device, combined with impact and rotational motion, to achieve efficient drilling operations on hard materials such as rock and concrete. 2.Working principle

Power source: Compressed air (usually 0.4~0.7 MPa) drives the piston to reciprocate and generate high-frequency impact force.

Impact-rotation synergy: The piston impacts the tail of the Drill Rod to transfer energy to the drill bit, and the drilling mechanism drives the drill rod to rotate to achieve continuous crushing of the rock formation.

Air leg propulsion: The air leg is adjusted by air pressure expansion and contraction, automatically propels the drill bit and offsets the recoil force, and improves drilling efficiency.

Applications

Mining: used for rock tunnel excavation and ore blasting hole drilling.

Tunnel engineering: drilling anchor holes or blasting holes in railway and highway tunnels.
